about

"Quite breathtakingly beautiful." Mark Radcliffe, BBC Radio 2

Nancy Kerr's first solo album was a breakthrough for the singer-songwriter, putting her front and centre of her own band for the first time. A groundbreaking collection of original songs saw Nancy shine in her own right, and helped her win the prestigious "Folk Singer of the Year" at the 2015 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. It was also the launch of Nancy's own record label, Little Dish Records. Produced by Andy Bell, the album saw Nancy exploring new soundscapes including electric instruments with the newly formed Sweet Visitor Band (Tom Wright, Tim Yates, James Fagan) alongside classic acoustic numbers featuring Martin Simpson, Tim van Eyken, Jess Arrowmsmith, Emily Smith and Robert Harbron.
